Barefoot Books is an independent publisher of award-winning children's books with themes focusing on cultural diversity, storytelling and art appreciation. My name is Karen Taylor and as an Independent Ambassador, I organize fundraisers and book fairs, participate in various community events, and host open houses to share my love of these wonderful books, puppets, puzzles, and music CD's. Located in Brandon, Valrico, Riverview, Lithia, Bloomingdale, Plant City, Apollo Beach, Tampa, St. Pete and surrounding areas.
Services I offer:
- Birthday party favors - Are you tired of buying a bunch of cheap toys and candy to fill the party bags knowing that the parents are just going to throw them away? Why not try something different and offer a Barefoot Book? Add a cookie or some other treat and you have a great parting gift for all children and the parents will love you. - Book fairs - Does your school want to earn free books for their classrooms? I offer easy and flexible book fairs. There are several options to choose from. You do not need any volunteers as I run the book fairs myself. Contact me for more details.
- Story Time - Are you a local business that's family friendly and has a slow time of the day/week? Want to boost some traffic during those slow times? Contact me to offer a story time at your business location. I also offer story times for moms groups. Contact me to find out more.
- Home Parties - Earn free books by hosting a Barefoot Books event. Home parties are a lot of fun and not a lot of work. Just invite some of your friends over for some wine and cheese or coffee and danishes and I'll do the rest! Just for hosting a party, you get to choose a book of your choice. Then earn more free books based on your party sales. Contact me to set a date!
